Prep for the Saturn-Pluto Meet-Up ~ 02 Jan 2020

Happy New Year. Happy New Decade!

My original plan was to discuss in more detail one of our newer dwarf planets, Gonggong, however, since the naming is not official, though ultimately likely to be approved, the Minor Planet Center removed the name from its list of Scattered Kuiper Belt Objects. We’ll pick that up later when Gonggong is back in full dwarf planet status. Instead let’s focus on what can be done to deal with the planetary elephant in the room: the upcoming conjunction of Saturn to Pluto in Capricorn, but ten days away...

On 12 January, Saturn and Pluto join in conjunction in a top shelf application of Capricorn joined by the Sun and Ceres. All potent planetary players, the gathering includes the largest solar system object, one of the physically most formidable planets (Ceres), and two often dreaded planetary players (Saturn and Pluto). This alignment represents the big burrito... the whole enchilada... a brimming pot of beans and celestially spicy salsa! Ready to dive into the smorgasbord?

In the spirit of mise-en-place planetary prep work, consider some preceding planetary influences in play, intending to set the stage for this massive, highly-touted, quadruple conjunction. So, here are some strategic staging tips:

Venus aligns with two mid-degree Aquarian black holes on the 4th through 6th of January. These transits inspire individuality in spite of collective pressures for conformity. Instead of a “do your own thing,” this pattern asks: “What is your thing? What is the merit of your thing? Do you possess the gumption to get it going?” If so, assimilate your assets and demonstrate the currently inspiring known proficiency of assembling unorthodox insights into useable and applicable mundane axioms. Make weird wonderful and real... real and really useful.

Between the 7th and 15th of January, Mars in Sagittarius tracks a series of information-oriented, idea-seeding black holes. The corresponding “Wow! I gotta remember and use that” insights require that time immediately be taken from (and in spite of) tasks at hand to document the hot insight flash. Because of an underscoring x-ray pulse out there in the well-populated Sagittarius arm of our galaxy, a 283-second interval of focused, conscious attention applies. To capture the best essence of the inspiration, this interval represents the minimum time to rough out the idea and set up some initial bullet points. Then, stay tuned in for a week and a half for enhanced insights. Follow that attunement with a dedicated three weeks to cultivate and flesh out the concepts for application under transits yet to come.

Come 8 January the lunar south node and Jupiter align in Capricorn. Off the close of a decade, take some time to thank the past for the experiences had, and more, express gratitude for the insight and wisdom gleaned from those experiences. Think of your previous karmic assignments as having between drawn on an Etch-a-Sketch. Shake that thing until the screen goes blank. Reassess whom you perceive to be part of your tribe. Who are those kindred folks with similar beliefs, skills, creative tendencies who naturally and organically fit into your plan? Sit with yourself and now focus upon your dharma and your celestially inspired family in pursuit of that dharma. Solidify the bonds and commit to a long haul plan of unfolding the mission of the incarnation. Jupiter requires three years for the short long-term plan and twelve years for the long long-term plan. Grab that Etch-a-Sketch and create those plans!

The day before the Saturn-Pluto partile conjunction, 11 January, Venus conjoins the evocative black hole Cygnus X-3. This unique stellar-based black hole system possesses an orbital period of 4.8 hours. Symbolically and actually, the essence of the singularity system postulates that one should take adequate time... like five hours of time... to process any and all lingering emotional reactions to past circumstances, family-of-origin memories and whatever situations require unprecedented emotional attention. Seal up those reactions to life’s previous escapades and adventures, assimilate the knowledge derived and become an open vessel to the opportunities of those things at hand and those that yet lie in the future.

Pretty much everyone on Earth gets slammed by the upcoming Sun-Ceres-Saturn-Pluto conjunction. Collective discordance is highly likely. Individual reaction to the alignment can be notably mitigated by applying the above transiting suggestions. Keep in mind as we go through the next weeks that Earthling commonality is that we all need to coexist on this blue sphere in space, and we all incarnated at this time with some sort of plan to contribute to the evolution of Earth. So here’s to the evolution of Earth and the good that evolution brings to all its occupants from minerals to the most intelligent life forms.

Next week, a user’s guide for the Sun-Ceres-Saturn-Pluto conjunction! Stay tuned!
